WE ARE THE CENTER OF EVERYTHING

WITH THE SOUL OF PHILIPPE STARCK

Like us, a restless mind, sometimes misunderstood, full of contrasts and nuances, of mud and gold, of light and night, from the most traditional to the most surprising. That's why we liked it so much.

Philippe Starck is responsible for giving a new soul to our Eslava Theater, for imbuing every corner with his unmistakable surreal and timeless style, a blend of our authentic roots and the sophistication of an unforgettable experience.

STARCK

Starck is a French architect known since his beginnings in the 1980s for his monumental works and for his interior and design projects, receiving more than 12 awards throughout his professional career, including the Adex Gold, the German Ranking Design, and Frame Magazine's Lifetime Achievement Award. Creating unique experiences worldwide such as La Main Bleue and Les Bains-Douches in Paris, and L'Avenue at Saks in New York.

A new experience that will turn the Eslava Theater into a space that will combine tradition and the purest surrealist, authentic and rootsy style, creating an elegant and pleasant atmosphere that conveys the humility of our origins and the greatness of our present. A visual and sensory experience that envelops us in everything we do, writes a story to tell and encapsulates all our memories.

ESLAVA THEATER

I have had several names, but I have always been in the same place for the last 150 years. We have been called sicalyptic for doing things that no one else did. Maybe because we have become a symbol of freedom. Maybe it's because they say a ghost lives within our walls. Or maybe because we were the birthplace of Lorca, one of the most important authors of the 20th century, and he started here, he wrote for us.

We have been the soul of a café, a variety show, a theater, a concert hall, a party hall, a television set, a reference of the Madrid nightlife, we were the surname of 'JOY', we were the center of all eyes. And today we are the center of the best experiences in the capital, so that they never stop looking at us, when they pass through our door.
