THE BEST FLAMENCO MUSICAL IN THE WORLD
TO LIVE A LITTLE BIT, HOW MUCH WE ARE
We are an experience with a flamenco soul that goes a step further and rediscovers the best of our culture and gastronomy, turning every moment into a moment of celebration. Lorca becomes a close link between the space, Teatro Eslava, and the origin of flamenco.
In OléOlá, we take a journey through the world of flamenco, visiting the sea, the city and of course, the heart of this wonderful art: the tablaos. During our journey, we rediscover the Guajiras and the Alegrías, celebrating the crossbreeding between Andalusian and South American music, through song and dance. We felt the rawest intensity of the nocturnal cities, where the heel tapping of the dancers merges with the Tarantos, the Soleás, the Martinetes and Tientos. Finally we enjoy the passion of Bulerías, Tangos, Rumbas and Jaleos. From the caves of yesterday, to the theaters of today.
PRESHOW WITH DINNER
In a relaxed atmosphere and while we dine, José Luis' guitar envelops us while he improvises with his fingers and chords.
They are joined by our cast with the rehearsal and warm-up, the moment in which technique exercises are performed where the dancers warm up and warm up the body. This block ends with the guitar, a cantaora and a cantaor and a repertoire of sevillanas, coplas Lorquianas and romancero gitano.
PART 1. LA GUAJIRA
A story of love, youth and passion. Someone is going to fall in love tonight.
From Cuba, Colombia or Venezuela, come the songs of back and forth, flamenco rhythms with crossbreeding: the Guajiras and the Alegrías. Ending this story with bulerías.
PART 2. PASSION
The essence of Lorca in New York City, flamenco in the street. The love story of a couple from different street gangs and its tragic outcome.
Expression of agony, violence, the pain of love, death and eroticism. A street fight where the castanets and the heels sound like heartbreaking blows. An unexpected denouement: a reverie full of passion and sensuality to the rhythm of an erotic bulería. The agony and passion to cling to life and love.
PART 3. THE RUCKUS
Our end of the trip begins with the remembrance of the classic tablao, the flamenco party and the jaleo. Andalusian tradition. Feel the flamenco with the soul in the purest way.
We end with the rumba of OleOlá, where we will witness an immersive experience of the most current and contemporary flamenco.
